“Trust in yourself. Your perceptions are often far more accurate than you are willing to believe”
Claudia Black

I have a BA (Honours) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy [1st Class].

I am a qualified Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

I adopt an integrative, collaborative approach to counselling, calling on a range of therapeutic models in order to work as effectively as possible with my client. These include a Person-Centred Approach, CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Transactional Analysis [TA]. I offer the core conditions of counselling, namely empathy, unconditional positive regard [acceptance] and congruence [genuineness].
I also adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework of Good Practice.

Previously, I have worked for several years in Adult counselling agencies and as a voluntary bereavement visitor for a local hospice.
